Happy Easter!

Today celebrates the day when Jesus rose from the grave. It's a very happy day. So today I'm going to post a few of my favorite photos from the past couple months. These are not just pictures for me. They are beautiful moments, captured forever. These are scenes that are guaranteed to spark a happy feeling inside me.
When I take a photograph and it turns out good, it reaffirms my belief in God. Why do dandelions, little yellow weeds that gardeners hate, look so beautiful up close? Because God pays attention to every little detail and He wants us to do the same. When I look at the world through my camera, I have to use different angles and perspectives and pay more attention to the little things that would not matter otherwise - how the light strikes a bead of dew on a blade of grass, how shadows add definition to a little girl's face, how the depth and color of a person's eyes can be accented with just the right combination of light and shadow.
When I look through my camera, I see that those little things really do matter. Everything that God made matters and is beautiful if you look at it in just the right way. Now, through me, God can show you those little things and their beauty. I hope that they warm your heart as they do mine.

Top 10

It's been ages since I last posted! I have several batches of photos from the past two months that I have not put on here yet. I will get to that soon, but for today, I want to do something different.
I think all of my followers already know that I have applied to the Governor's School for the Arts Program. My audition, or interview, is the 24th of this month. I have to bring 10 photos with me to show to the people who will be interviewing me. It took me a couple hours, but I have finally narrowed down my top 10. I am sure I will probably change my mind, but for now, here they are! What do you think? Any better suggestions from photos I have previously posted?
